Goals and Philosophy
The Glenridge Children’s Center goals and philosophy revolves around the needs of our children and families in our program. We make every effort to create an environment that is positive, warm, fun, safe, and secure. We provide support services in childcare to our families and give them many reasons to feel secure in their choice to enroll their child in our care. We strive to involve parents in their child's growth and development by keeping the lines of communication open at all times. Parents work cooperatively in our program through a Board of Directors and family activities that encourage community effort in the program.
We believe that children should receive a variety of opportunities and experiences that will enrich their lives and help them to grow and develop to their full potential in all areas of development. We hope that each child will be encouraged and given reinforcement so they can grow to have a healthy self-image and build confidence and strong feelings of self-worth. We continue to work toward creating a nurturing environment where children can build positive relationships with their peers and staff members and strengthen the bonds within their family.
