The School District of Clayton is not automatically for or against the concept of economic development incentives (TIF, Chapter 100, Chapter 353, etc.) that are funded via property taxes.  Instead, we believe the use of economic development incentives to fund a project should be considered individually, on their own merits.  This includes a rigorous and detailed evaluation of any project’s impact on all stakeholders in the community.
