All Clayton High School sophomores in the 2009-2010
school year were tested, the scores above are only on those students who turn 15 between Sept. 1, 2009 and Aug. 31, 2010. The practice of limiting the students to 15-year-olds is used by PISA to enhance the validity of comparing scores across nations. The scores for the 15-year-olds are directly comparable to the published values for other countries.
