Tuition

Thank you for your interest in the School District of Clayton. A recent public opinion survey of Clayton residents showed that 80 percent of them believe that Clayton's public schools are as good or better than area private schools. If you're reading this, then you must also be carefully considering that same idea.


The School District of Clayton has a nationally, and internationally, recognized Pre-K through 12, college preparatory, academic program. We believe that our students' achievements and accomplishments are a direct result of our commitment to putting the interests and needs of each student at the center of every decision we make. Our mission, "to strive to develop in all our children the strength of character, the skills, the knowledge, and the wisdom necessary to build creative, productive lives and to contribute to a global society," drives us as we guide our students on their path to success.

Tuition rates for the 2013-2014 year are:

Grades K-5: $10,820
Grades 6-12: $16,250

Completed application forms should be sent to to the Office of Student Services, #2 Mark Twain Circle, Clayton, MO 63105. Students wishing to accept placement must notify the District within two weeks of receiving their acceptance letter. Tuition-paying students, once accepted, may remain in the District until they graduate, as long as they abide by District policies and yearly tuition is paid.
