Parent-Child Programs are designed to give parents information and support and to provide children with guided play experiences appropriate to their ages. Programs include: Open Times, Parents As Teachers, Lunch and Supper Bunches, Parenting and Child Development Classes, Parent-Child: Time Together, Parent Workshops, Co-op Programs, and Library for Parents and Children.
Parent Education (kindergarten through 12th grade) is designed to provide parents with information and support. Programs include Parent Workshops, Lunch and Supper Bunches, Parenting Library, Support Groups, and Parenting Classes.
Special Services Program is designed to maximize every child's and family's growth and development. Programs include Development Screening, Early Childhood Special Education, Individual and Family Counseling, and School Observation and Consultation.
Community Outreach Programs are designed to provide further knowledge of child development, parenting skills and early childhood education in the community-at-large. Included are consultations for early childhood and parent educators and speakers available for interested groups.
Middle School/Senior High School Collaboration is designed to give students theoretical background in child development and first-hand experience with children. Included are observation opportunities, practicum experiences, and a community service site.
Individual and Family Counseling Services provide short-term individual, couples, and family counseling and parenting consultation services. Appointments may be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Other appointment hours or fee adjustments may be arranged with the individual counselor.
