Clayton Summer AcademyThe mission of Clayton Summer Academy (CSA) is to provide students with an opportunity to work towards their graduation from Clayton High School (CHS). The District considers the summer program to be a direct extension of our high school curriculum, expectations and standards of excellence. In addition to tuition-based courses, there are courses for students who need to recover credits in the four core content areas and a few offerings for students who would like to fulfill other state requirements. CHS counselors provide the best source of information on the appropriate courses for all students. Please contact your counselor with questions.
All classes for 2018 CSA will begin on June 5. Courses will be offered for either four or five weeks; the four-week courses are considered accelerated curriculum due to the concentrated nature of the content. The four-week courses will be held from June 5-29, while five-week courses will be offered from June 5-July 3.Following the same procedure as last year, all enrollment for CSA will be completed by the counseling department. Your counselor will review class options for the summer at the same time class choices are made for next school year. All registration materials will be turned in to the counseling department according to the guidelines in the CSA Brochure to ensure registration for summer courses. All students are not guaranteed registration for all courses, therefore these procedures are important.
