  • March 8, 2017 • Board of Education Working Session

    The Board honored Captain Elementary Librarian Tom Bober and Wydown Middle School Librarian Dr. Victoria Jones and Social Studies Teacher Emily Szyman, approved a District contribution toward the renovation of Adzick Field, approved requests regarding a comprehensive landscape study and a facility assessment for the District, and received an update on the progress toward the recommendations from the Middle School Program Review.

    The Board of Education held a work session on the topic of statutory tuition, provided input on the preliminary framework for the 2017-2018 budget, reviewed the spring enrollment report and provided feedback on several policy updates.

  • Feb. 8, 2017 • Board of Education Working Session

    The Board of Education received an update on the Professional Development program’s two-year self-study, reviewed the work of the Long-Term Financial Planning Committee and took part in a discussion regarding the District’s long-range budget planning.

  • Jan. 25, 2017 • Board of Education Meeting

    The Board of Education honored the District’s National Merit Scholars, were recognized in conjunction with School Board Recognition Week, reviewed the Career and Technical Education department’s self-study and approved several action items, including the Technology department’s curriculum review and an increase to the District’s Technology Improvement Plan budget.

    The Board of Education held a working session, where they viewed a presentation about Discovery Time at Glenridge Elementary, reviewed the final recommendations of the Technology Curriculum self-study and discussed the District’s partnerships with affiliated user groups.
