I began my career teachingfourth grade at Becky-David Elementary in the Francis Howell SchoolDistrict. I received my Bachelor’s in Arts in Elementary Education atMissouri State University. I earned my Master’s of Arts in Teachingand Certification in Teaching English for Speakers of Other Languagesat Webster University. As I embark on my fourteenth year in my career, I amexcited to continue my passions of teaching and learning this schoolyear. I look forward to working with students and staff as I amMeramec's Instructional Coordinator. My role as Instructional Coordinator is multi-faceted. I am involved in managing data, lead teacher/mentor for our building, interventionist, co-facilitate our problem solving team, provide student supports with academics and behaviors, greet students and families before and after school, supervise lunch and recess periods, provide ongoing and "just in time" professional development, lead our school's Character Council and school-wide service learning projects, as well as provide other in the moment needs for our building. It is a pleasure to work with an amazing group of students, families, and staff at Meramec. While not at school, you may find me spending time with family andfriends, traveling, reading, running at Forest Park, attending events in the community, going to Cardinal games, or shopping local boutiques. I grew up in St. Charles and now live inDogtown. I look forward to learning more about you and your interestsall throughout the year.
