In the spring of 2008, the School District of Clayton chose technology as one of our CSIP goals:
By 2013 high quality technology will be accessible to all students and staff and usage of that technology by both sudents and staff will meet the level of expertise established by state and national standards.
In the fall of 2008, the School District of Clayton adopted the International Society for Technology in Education's (ISTE) National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers, second edition (NETS*T). These standards provide teachers with an awareness of and exposure to state and national technology literacy expectations for teachers.
