Hello, my name is Gwen Kennerly and I am the Spanish instructor at Glenridge Elementary School. I have been teaching Spanish at the elementary level since 1993 and have been at Glenridge since 2001. I hold a Master's degree in the field of Communications with an emphasis in Spanish from Webster University and continue to enjoy opportunities to further my education in the field of second language acquisition, assessment, technology and differentiated instruction.
I am a native to St. Louis and live in South City with my husband Ed and my daughter Isla. I love gardening, crafting and cooking. I am so excited to get to know the first grade students and new Glenridge students and I look forward to an exciting year of fun with Spanish.
