We are excited to continue to serve as your 2012-2013 Co-Presidents of the Wydown Parent Teacher Organization and we welcome and encourage your involvement.  Being a parent of a Wydown student automatically makes you a member of the PTO.   All PTO board meetings will be held the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Library.

PTO Board meetings will:

1. Provide an opportunity for parents to get to know each other
2. Hear personally from Principal Goldberg on upcoming events and happenings related to Wydown
3. Provide a forum for discussion to help further the goals and objectives of the PTO board and its committees
4. Welcome your voice and suggestions for topics of discussion that pertain to the Wydown community

The PTO Board is responsible for:

1. Encouraging all parents to participate in Funds For Excellence which supports and sponsors enrichment programs and opportunities for our students
2. Recruiting volunteers for school and PTO sponsored events
3. Reviewing funding requests made by faculty and administration
4. Addressing areas of concern for Wydown parents 
5. Supporting our teachers and administration who strive to make Wydown a world-class learning environment for our students
