{losos} Dr. Louise Losos, Principal Louise_Losos@clayton.k12.mo.us {gutchewsky} Dan Gutchewsky, Associate Principal Dan_Gutchewsky@clayton.k12.mo.us 314-854-6604 Dan Gutchewsky has been an administrator with the School District of Clayton for the past nine years. During his time with the district he has served as Dean of Students at Clayton High School, Assistant Principal at Wydown Middle School, Assistant Principal at Clayton High School and Associate Principal at Clayton High School. Prior to coming to Clayton Mr. Gutchewsky taught science at Lindbergh High School for six years. Mr. Gutchewsky graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Science Education. He earned his Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville in 2002. Currently, Mr. Gutchewsky is completing his doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy at Vanderbilt University. During his fifteen years in education, Mr. Gutchewsky has enjoyed working with students in a variety of capacities both inside and outside the classroom. He coached football for five years, and women’s track and field for seven years. In addition, he served as a sponsor of the Metropolitan Student Leadership Program, CHS STUGO and he currently serves on the board of the non-profit organization, Music Matters. Outside of school, Mr. Gutchewsky enjoys spending time with his wife of eleven years and their two-year-old son. His hobbies include traveling, hiking and fly-fishing. Mr. Gutchewsky’s primary duties at CHS include: building the master schedule, coordinating and procuring staff, directing alternative programs, and serving as grade-level principal for the ninth and eleventh grades. {pieper} Marci Pieper, Assistant Principal Marci_Pieper@clayton.k12.mo.us
314-854-6603 After three years as assistant principal in St. Charles West, Pieper returned to the school which, for her, has always been special. Pieper first came to CHS in 1995, after working first for the Francis Howell district and then for Jostens Printing and Publishing. Pieper is a woman of many talents. During her ten years at Clayton, Pieper worked as the advisor to the newspaper, the yearbook, and the literary magazine. She taught English and graphic art classes, and during her last three years she served as director of technology. She also worked with student government and sponsored CHS club. During this time Pieper also received her administration certificate, and in 2005 she left Clayton to take the assistant principal job at St. Charles West. Pieper is in charge of discipline, budget, facilities and maintenance, summer programs, and responding to the needs of the teachers and the students. {luhning} Ryan Luhning, Administrative Intern Ryan_Luhning@clayton.k12.mo.us 314-854-6786 Ryan Luhning spent eight years at St. John Vianney High School in Kirkwood, MO. During his time at Vianney he taught physical education and was an assistant football coach and an assistant basketball coach. Mr. Luhning also served as the Dean of Students and Student Council Moderator during his time at Vianney. Mr. Luhning came to Clayton as the district substitution coordinator and Clayton High School's head boys basketball and track coach. He is now serving as Clayton High School's administrative intern. Mr. Luhning graduated from the University of Missouri St. Louis in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree and holds a Masters degree from Webster University in Educational Technology. Mr. Luhning enjoys working with the students at Clayton High School and being involved in the Community. {bone} Bob Bone, Athletic Director Bob_Bone@clayton.k12.mo.us 314-854-6743 Bob Bone has been the Athletic Director at Clayton High School since the 2006-2007 school year. Before coming to Clayton, Bone had spent the previous 21 years at Collinsville High School in Illinois where he served as the Athletic Director and Basketball Coach for 20 years before spending his last year there as an Assistant Principal. As an AD, Bone was recognized as Illinois Class AA Outstanding AD in 1999-2000 and represented Southern Illinois on the IHSA Athletic Administrator Advisory Committee and Legislative Commission. During his 20 years of coaching, Collinsville won 10 Southwest Conference Championships, 13 IHSA Regional Championships, and in the 1990's spent time as the winningest high school basketball program in America. Prior to Collinsville, Bone was the Basketball Coach and Athletic Director at East Central College, as well as an Assistant Basketball Coach at both St Louis University and Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Bob recieved his BA from the University of Missouri-St Louis, where he was a three-time basketball All American, his MS from SIU-Carbondale and his Administrative Certification from SIU-Edwardsville. Bob is a member of both the UMSL and Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame and is currently serving as President of the Suburban Conference. {Nelke} Mike Nelke, Student Activities Director Mike_Nelke@clayton.k12.mo.us 314-854-6785 {zlatic} Officer John Zlatic, SRO John_Zlatic@clayton.k12.mo.us 314-854-6611 Officer John Zlatic has been the School Resource Officer at Clayton High School and Meramec Elementary School for three years. He has been with the Clayton Police Department for 12 years with most of that time spent in the Detective Bureau. Prior to a career in law enforcement, Officer Zlatic was a linguist for the United States Military. Officer Zlatic holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology from UMSL, a Masters in Humanities in International Political Science from LSU, and is completing a Masters in Education at Missouri Baptist. Officer Zlatic enjoys working with the Clayton students and staff. He takes pride in contributing to providing a safe, secure, and pleasant learning environment. |
